I Have Decided

If you have put your faith in Christ, baptism is your next step!
At Central, we love to celebrate every life that has been changed by the gospel message. We can’t wait to share your story and help you to grow as a part of our church family!

What Does Baptism Look Like?

Baptism is a public commitment you make before God, your church, and your family. We bring baptism into the heart of our worship experience, sharing your testimony (why you made this decision) with your church family, and celebrate the new life that you’ve found in Jesus!
This is a moment that we love to celebrate with you!

What Should I Wear On Baptism Day?

You will experience a full immersion in our baptismal tank, so you will want to wear clothes that you are comfortable getting wet. Most people wear a t-shirt and comfortable shorts or pants. We recommend that clothing is dark in color. You will also need a towel and a change of clothing for after your baptism.

What To Expect on Baptism Day:

You will be greeted by a team member who will walk you through the order of the service, introduce you to the person who will be baptizing you, and assist you and your family in finding a seat. We welcome you to invite as many people as you’d like to share in this moment with you! We’ll even save rows for your family if you need them.

Generally baptisms happen during our worship set. We will break between songs and someone will get up to introduce you and share your story. We will have photographers and videographers there to capture and share this incredible decision with you.

After your baptism, the team member who greeted you will walk you to the nearest private restroom so that you can get changed. Be prepared for lots of high fives along the way! This person will also wait for you and make sure that you get back to your family and friends once you’re in some dry clothes.
